The debt of excess and misused freedom in past existences now demands temperance and adaptability. Fourteen tests the native through constant change, temptation, and instability until the soul learns to move freely without surrendering to appetite or chaos. Fourteen reduces to five, the Pythagorean Pentad — the number of life, motion, and the senses.
