Is makara rashi today positive?

Whether today's reading is positive depends on which planets currently transit your makara (Moon-sign) and how they aspect its lord. The reading on this page reads today's actual sky against the natal placement — see the "What this is based on" block for the specific transits the LLM used.

What is the ruling planet of makara rashi?

Makara is ruled by Saturn. Daily Rashifal predictions for makara pay extra attention to the current state of Saturn — its sign placement, retrograde status, and aspects on natal positions.

What does makara rashi correspond to in Western astrology?

Makara corresponds to Capricorn in Western tropical astrology. The two zodiacs differ by about 24 degrees (Lahiri ayanamsa) due to precession of the equinoxes — the names are different, the underlying sign of the actual sky is the same.

What is the element of makara rashi?

Makara is a earth sign in classical Vedic categorization. Classical authors (Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra ch. 6) link element to temperament — earth signs respond to specific transit types more sharply than others.

Are these predictions personalized?

These are based on your moon-sign rashi, not your full birth chart. For a reading that uses your exact natal positions and current dasha, compute your Kundali — same engine, same citations, full chart instead of just the moon-sign view.
