Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data — email, display name, locale (via Logto identity provider).
• Astrological inputs you provide — birth date, time, place, name. Stored only if you create a saved profile; otherwise discarded after the computation.
• Usage analytics — Umami (self-hosted), no cookies, no cross-site tracking.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see card numbers.
• Server logs — IP, user agent, route. 30-day retention. Used for abuse / debugging only.

How we use it

• To compute the chart, numerology, vastu, or horoscope you asked for.
• To remember your saved profiles when you log in.
• To fight abuse (rate limits, bot detection).
• To improve the product, in aggregate. We do not sell or rent your data.

Sharing

We use a small number of subprocessors to deliver the service: an authentication provider (Logto), a payment processor (Stripe), a database host (Neon), a content delivery network (Cloudflare), and an AI language-model provider that powers our interpretations and daily horoscope generation. Birth data sent for interpretation is transmitted only at the moment of interpretation and is not retained by the AI provider beyond that single request. The current list of subprocessors with their legal names and processing locations is available on request from privacy@miastrea.ai.

Retention

• Saved profiles — until you delete them.
• Anonymous chart computations — never stored.
• Server access logs — 30 days.
• Stripe records — per Stripe's retention (typically 7 years for tax).

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from your account page, or by emailing privacy@miastrea.ai. Under GDPR and CCPA you have additional rights — see our GDPR notice.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) signals — see /.well-known/gpc.json.

Children

MiAstrea AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
