Question 1

What does the Soul Urge reveal?

Accepted Answer

Soul Urge reveals one facet of your numerology profile via the digit reduction of a specific input (your name, birth date, or both). Five traditions — Pythagorean, Chaldean, Vedic Anka, Cheiro, Balliett — interpret the same number through different lineages, all shown side-by-side with their source citations.

Question 2

How is the Soul Urge calculated?

Accepted Answer

Sum of vowels only — the inner motivation, what your heart privately wants. Y is treated as a vowel by default. Same input plus same engine version always returns the same number — fully reproducible, no randomness. The math is pure digit reduction with master numbers (11, 22, 33) preserved.

Question 3

Which classical sources back the interpretations?

Accepted Answer

The interpretations are paraphrased from primary sources: Cheiro's Book of Numbers (1926, public domain), L. Dow Balliett's Philosophy of Numbers (1908, public domain), and the classical Vedic Ank Shastra tradition. Each meaning panel carries a citation badge with author, work title, year, and an archive.org link where available.

Question 4

Why do different traditions disagree on the same number?

Accepted Answer

They start from different cosmologies — Pythagorean from Greek mathematics, Chaldean from Babylonian astrology, Vedic Anka from planetary rulers, Cheiro and Balliett from early-20th-century Western mysticism. We honor that disagreement (the belief-honor pattern) — every tradition that covered the number is shown, not filtered, so you can read across them yourself.
